I am the proprietor of this long established nursery and I have been involved with Around 3 in various capacities since 1986. I came to the Nursery as an assistant after having spent 17 years in retail management in the South East where I gained a wealth of experience in running businessess for companies both large and small together with dealing with the public and outside bodies. Over almost 30 years I can say that I have participated in most roles within the nursery including cook and cleaner!

It has always been my goal to maintain the good reputation that we as a nursery have gained over more than three decades and it gives me a great deal of satisfaction to welcome children whose parents attended when they were young.

Since investing in the new building a few years ago the Nursery has been able to offer state of the art facilities to the children who attend. I am proud of this achievement as I can be assured that the nursery will continue in this location for many years to come.

I now spend my time working behind the scenes on administration for the nursery, leaving the day to day running in the very capable hands of the Manager and her staff. Together we are committed to providing the best possible care for the children of this community and beyond and our aim is to send them off to 'big school' in the knowledge that we have given them the best possible start in their young lives.
