Cover Staff Vacancies

 

We are currently looking for a staff with a childcare Level 3 qualification to work occasionally when needed to cover staff holidays, training and sickness. There is a possibility this could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. The position is to work as and when needed between the hours of 8.30 - 5.30 Monday to Friday.

 

You will need to have proven experience of working with very young children from 3 months to 5 years, as you will be required to work in our baby room as well as the pre-school room when required.

You will need to have a sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and you must be able to act as a key person and plan to meet children's individual needs.

 

We follow a safer recruitment program and all applicants will have to have suitable references and an enhamced DBS check carried out before employment commences.

Volunteers

 

We are currently looking for Volunteers who would like to spare a few hours each week to come into the Nursery and support children during activities.

We would particularly like to hear from people who have skills such as baking, gardening, forest school experience or if your able to play an instrument, and would like to join us for a regular music session.

 

You will need to have an enhanced DBS Check already before we can allow you to Volunteer in the Nursery, we can apply for the DBS check, but this would be at your own cost. We do also ask for two character references.
