Hi, my name is Liz. I am a mother of two and a grandmother to one. I enjoy reading and doing crosswords, walking and having my grandson to stay

The job chose me in a way at the right time. I did cook at the nursery many years ago and so was pleased to come back in a new role.

I enjoy maintaining a standard of cleanliness in which the children are safe to learn and play.

Qualification's held: Currently working towards a level 3 qualification at College.

Hi, my name is Leah. I am currently studying Childrens learning and development at level 3. As part of my college course, I was placed at Around 3 Day Nursery in early October 2015, to enable me to gain experience in, an early years setting. Since then I have grown in confidence and have now started working as nursery cover staff.

Around 3 Day nursery has provided me with all the support and help I've needed during my time here.

I really enjoy working with the children and getting to know them. It is very rewarding to see a child grow in confidence, or finally count to 10. I love being able to help children in all aspects of development, being part of and seeing their achievements is the best part of the job.

Hi, my name is Vanessa i'm 21 years old and expecting my first child in April 2016. I have spent 3 years at college doing childcare, I enjoy spending time with my family and my interests include sailing and shopping. I first took the decision to work with children when I enroled on a course at college. I really enjoyed all my work placements in different types of settings. I became very intrigued with the way children learnt through their play. I love my job because I feel as if it is the most rewarding job you can have, children come from lots of different backgrounds and they are all given the same chances and opportunities to develop and strive to become the best they can be.
